We were commissioned to relocate the cathedral shop from a nave corner to the Anointing Room, we designed and built a fully freestanding fit-out (no wall fixings allowed). The scheme uses 25 mm moisture-resistant (hydrofugo) MDF, spray-finished in Farrow & Ball Wimborne White, with Lissa oak interiors and slatwall. Underlit oak shelving runs on an adjustable track for flexible POS layouts, while vented backs protect the medieval walls.
The result is a brighter, warmer retail space with a clear new entrance and robust, museum-friendly detailing.
Designed to anchor the living room, this made-to-measure media wall combines clean display with hidden capacity. Tall bi-fold pocket doors open to reveal adjustable shelving, while the central recess is sized precisely for the client’s screen and soundbar. A run of warm, integrated lighting brings a soft glow to the surround, and a matching cornice ties the piece into the room’s architecture. Finished with a hand-sprayed neutral and brass-toned handles/knobs, all cabling is routed discreetly for a calm, clutter-free façade.
At Newmarket Road we transformed an unused stair void into a calm, organised shoe store. Each bay is shelved to suit different sizes and styles, giving the client fast access without clutter. Traditional applied mouldings echo the detailing of the staircase, while a hand-sprayed neutral finish and small round knobs keep the façade refined. Oak-toned interiors, smooth runners and a scribed plinth complete a piece that looks original to the house, and works hard every day.
In Old Buckenham we were asked to complete full second-fix joinery across the home, bespoke V-groove ceiling cladding, a walk-in wardrobe, child’s wardrobe and a practical boot room. Two bespoke vanities complete the bathrooms: a compact freestanding unit with slatted shelf and brass knobs, and a double with deep drawers and shaker doors; both hand-sprayed and finished with stone tops and upstands.
